Medical Loan in Chennai
Medical Loan in Chennai
Unfortunately, getting sick and going to the hospital for some kind of medical treatment is unavoidable no matter how healthy you are. It’s just a matter of time before you or your loved one will need some kind of medical procedure.
There are so many hospitals sprouting up in Chennai each year, and that is great news as more people are getting the medical attention they need. However, no matter how many hospitals come up, medical procedures are still very expensive and when you are in a medical emergency it may be difficult to pull out the required cash from thin air. Even if you have saved some money, it may not always be enough for certain treatments.
A lot of companies provide medical insurance for their employees and some people take medical insurance independently. Medical insurance is one of the options that you can rely on at such times but the coverage that they give is limited and it comes with a lot of conditions that must be met. Here are some of those conditions:
DOWNSIDE OF MEDICAL INSURANCE
Pre-existing conditions are not covered
If you have a pre-existing health condition when you take a medical insurance, be warned that most insurance companies will not cover the expenses that are related to it as well as any complications which arise from it.
Post-hospitalization expenses are not covered
Once you have a medical treatment, you will usually need follow-ups and medicines for complete recovery. However, most medical insurance schemes do not cover these post-hospitalization charges.
Diagnostic tests are not covered
You may need to go through certain diagnostic tests before your doctor gives you a diagnosis. These tests could end up costing you a lot of money and your insurance company will probably not cover this in your policy.
Depending on what your diagnosis is, most medical insurance policy companies will require you to complete a waiting period before you can make a claim. This could be between one to 48 months which means that you will have to pay out of your own pocket initially, and it will be reimbursed later on.
Special procedures are not covered
The diseases and procedures that are covered in most insurance policies are very limited. Psychiatric treatments, dental treatments, prosthetics, cosmetic surgeries, sexually transmitted diseases, IVF treatment, pregnancy or childbirth related expenses and many other treatments are not covered in most medical insurance policies.

I did not want to make many enquiries as many requests can lower the CIBIL score. I contacted Qbera on a Monday and by evening itself they had an offer for me. They kept me informed through every step of the process and were also flexible with regards to my commitments. In the end, the loan was disbursed within two days of documents submission. Thank you Qbera for simplifying the process and helping me find a loan. " Show more...
