Private banks have often been known to offer the best personal loan interest rates in the market. Many private banks offer loans at interest rates starting from 10.99% p.a. While it certainly is important to opt for the lowest interest rates to reduce monthly repayment amounts, if you want money urgently, private banks aren't the ideal option - this is because private lenders take at least 1 week to process and disburse your loan amount. Moreover, applying for loans with these lenders involves extensive paperwork, another reason why the process is particularly time-consuming.
So, if you want urgent funds or you're looking for an urgent loan as such, private banks won't quite give you the best experience.
The answer is Fintech lenders. The market today has seen the rise of lending startups that have built a distinct reputation for disbursing fast loans, with the provision of allowing applicants to complete the entire loan application process online. Let's look at some prominent points that clearly indicate that Fintech lenders are key to allowing more number of applicants to access urgent funds during times of financial crisis:
Digital and paperless application process
Fintech startups that are active mostly in the unsecured lending space have adopted advanced systems characteristic of paperless and digital processes and approvals. Applicants can initiate and complete the entire process online, with minimal paperwork being involved. This symbolizes a dimensional shift from traditional lending methods that are still adopted by private banks in the market. Owing to this advanced application process, Fintechs have been able to dislodge private banks as leading choices for personal loans in the market.
Loans for low-income levels and low CIBIL scores
Another reason for Fintechs unseating private banks as market leaders in personal loan lending is that these new-age lenders offer loans to individuals with low CIBIL scores and low-income levels as well. Qbera offers instant personal loans for individuals who are salaried with a minimum income of Rs. 20,000 per month, and a minimum CIBIL score of 575.

"I am really happy that I got a loan from Qbera. My application has been rejected by lenders in the past without giving any explanation for rejection. Qbera approved my loan with minimum documents. Thanks a lot once again."
I did not want to make many enquiries as many requests can lower the CIBIL score. I contacted Qbera on a Monday and by evening itself they had an offer for me. They kept me informed through every step of the process and were also flexible with regards to my commitments. In the end, the loan was disbursed within two days of documents submission. Thank you Qbera for simplifying the process and helping me find a loan. " Show more...
